That question was asked by the son in a family that lost everything in the May floods in Nashville. If you were that mom, how would you answer? Ask and it shall be given to you,  seek and ye shall find.   The book of Matthew Chapter 7 verse 7  basically tells us that if we ask in the name of GOD and for GOD it will be given.  Well,  maybe that is just my  interpretation of the scripture but I believe that we are allowed to do just that. I don't know about you, but when I go to bed at night, I do not say a prayer thanking God for the bed. Or for the sheets. Or for the pillows. But we had a family at Graceworks recently who came to pick out replacement furniture for things they had lost in the flood. Among the furniture they received were beds for their young boys.
