How do you get 100 Fuel Bags in a Mini?

Monday, August 1st, 2011
Boy Scout Zack Sexton saw a need at GraceWorks, and took the opportunity to address that need in his Eagle Scout project. With the volume of food donations that are sorted here at GraceWorks, the pantry needed a sorting table that was more flexible for different sized drives or donation items. After volunteering in the pantry to understand the process, Zack designed a table that is long enough to accommodate the sort boxes, and with overhead signage that can be changed out as needed. “I almost didn’t come here today.”

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011
One of the best things about working at GraceWorks is seeing God work in such amazing ways. We have seen some unusual situations the past week or so, where God's hand has been so visible in the interactions, in who was here, and in what was said. Praise the Lord! Last week, a client came in who has 5 children and lost her husband about 10 years ago. She met with two of our volunteer GraceWorkers, one of whom is relatively new to the process and was training with a seasoned GraceWorker. A sRead More....
