We see God appointments every day at GraceWorks Ministries, but some days are more mind-blowing than others. Today was a good day for God's work.
We were able to help a family get their electricity turned back on (their bill was over $1000!). Through a series of conversations, we were able to work out a plan for them.
We helped facilitate a fresh start for a client, who will be receiving a grant to help fund a trip across country to start a new life in California.

One of the services that GraceWorks provides for our clients, is the ability to purchase dietary supplements, like Ensure, at cost, if they have a qualify and have a prescription from their doctor.
Last week, an elderly man who comes in for Ensure each month, was sitting in the lobby, waiting on someone to get it for him.
He told the receptionist,
"I love coming in here. I feel all peaceful when I'm here. I can feel God's presence in here."

GraceWorks partners with over 55 area churches that provide support and volunteers to help us achieve our mission of sharing the hope and grace of God by helping our neighbors in need. One way that we help is by providing food for struggling families. Our ability to provide that food has been challenged recently as the food pantry stock had gotten very low.
Not any more. Each year Brentwood Baptist Church holds a food drive to benefit GraceWorks. Just think how excited we were as we unloaded
