Living on the edge

Saturday, February 12th, 2011
At Graceworks, we seek to help people in tough situations. Many times, we step in when a client is about to have their power cut off or to be evicted because they haven't been able to pay their bills. Music to soothe

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011
Christmas is such a hectic time, and if you are like me, waiting in a lobby for assistance of any kind can be nerve-wracking. We had two youth who had an idea to try to ease the wait for some of our clients at Graceworks. While they were out of school, they put on a musical performance in our waiting area. Thanks Rachel and Sammy Sylvester, for using your musical talents to brighten the holidays for some of our clients. [imagebrowser id=34]

There was no mistaking the tears in her eyes…

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

Their house will be decorated, maybe not quite like before, but it will be festive. Noah's Christmas was held Saturday, December 11, and all families had to do was to Read More....

The Manger opens

Friday, December 10th, 2010
The Manger 2010 opened Thursday, December 9, with over 80 families shopping for gifts with the help of over 100 volunteers. There were lots of smiles, hugs, prayers, blessings and calls for "Merry Christmas" as people left with bags of gifts for their families. Graceworks has had over 840 families register for The Manger this year, compared to 541 last year. While donations are coming in, we do not currently have sufficient donations to cover the number of families expected to shop. Be suRead More....
