Sometimes prayer can make all the difference in someone's outlook on life.
We recently saw a client who had been laid off from her job of 2 years, and also recently lost her benefits. "Hopeless" was how she described feeling when she first arrived at GraceWorks.
But one of our volunteer GraceWorkers met with her and talked about ways we could help. She was eligible for food assistance, so she received a grocery cart of food.

One of the best things about working at GraceWorks is seeing God work in such amazing ways. We have seen some unusual situations the past week or so, where God's hand has been so visible in the interactions, in who was here, and in what was said. Praise the Lord!
Last week, a client came in who has 5 children and lost her husband about 10 years ago. She met with two of our volunteer GraceWorkers, one of whom is relatively new to the process and was training with a seasoned GraceWorker.
