Isn’t Christmas the most wonderful time of the year? Can’t you almost smell the turkey roasting in the oven, and see the gifts under the tree?

Many in Williamson County will not have the privilege of providing Christmas presents for their families this year. Many lack the funds for daily food, let alone a special Christmas meal. And if you can’t pay your bills, how will you purchase gifts for your children?

Through the GraceWorks Christmas programs, hundreds of struggling families are able to celebrate Christmas with gifts and a special meal. The Manger is a Christmas shopping experience that allows families the opportunity to choose gifts for everyone in the household for a small fee, which gives them the dignity of not accepting a handout. Each family also receives a food basket delivered by a volunteer family.
Over 900 families participated in the GraceWorks Christmas programs last year, and we expect even more families to request help this year. We need over 12,000 gifts for all age groups to meet this need. Thank you for your generosity.
