Parents needing help with the expenses of a newborn in the house are the focus of a new GraceWorks program, Our Little Angels, in collaboration with Nurses for Newborns.

The average cost for nursery supplies and baby items for a child from birth to age 1 is $5,000. Our Little Angels has the mission to help new parents in need by providing nursery supplies and baby items to Nurses for Newborns, which will distribute them.

New parents seeking help through Our Little Angels must be referred to Nurses for Newborns from a health department, the Department of Human Services or a hospital. GraceWorks does not provide referrals.

The Nurses for Newborns Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing assessment, in-home visits and items to parents of at-risk infants.
