The Fuel Bag program, one of the fastest growing programs at GraceWorks, provides nutritious, easy to eat food for the weekend for many of the children in our community. These children face food insecurity, which means they may not know where their next meal will come from. Yes. Here in Williamson County.
This summer, GraceWorks has continued to provide fuel bags or fuel bag supplies for several summer programs, including summer day camp at New Hope Academy.
In early September, we will resume the regular fuel bag program in our area schools. We anticipate an increase in the number of schools as well as the number of children served. If you are interested in helping put together or deliver fuel bags, please contact volunteer@graceworksministries.net for more information.
Items needed for the bags include single serve packages of chicken or tuna salad with crackers, shelf stable milk in 8 oz cartons, and peanut butter or cheese crackers.

What school(s) are you in with your Fuel Bag program?
We are currently providing Fuel Bags at Franklin Elem, Liberty Elem, Moore Elem, Sunset Elem, Heritage Elem, Johnson Elem, Nolensville Elem, Page Middle and Poplar Grove Elem.
Freedom Intermediate School also has a Fuel Bag program through GraceWorks.
That is actually one of our satellite programs provided by one of our partner churches rather than directly from GraceWorks.
