The neighbors in Williamson County are a generous group of people! When the call went out for donations for the annual Stamp Out Hunger mail carriers' food drive, you donated. When the call for volunteers to help process the donations went out - you responded. We had over 150 volunteers working through the afternoon to transport, unload, and process nearly 36,000 pounds of food donations collected in this county today. Thank you so much! We have lots of folks to thank for a successful Mail Carriers "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive on Saturday, May 14, starting with the hundreds of mail carriers who picked up food bags left at mailboxes on their routes. That is hard work and we appreciate the extra effort to collect all that food. Volunteering for Mail Carriers’ Food Drive

Volunteer to help with the annual Mail Carrier's Food Drive on May 14. Volunteer opportunities include: Route Drivers - starting at 10 am. Volunteers help pick up donated food on several postal routes. Drivers should have a truck, van SUV or trailer with sides, and have 1-2 helpers. Youth promote healthy snacks for Fuel Bags

Ok, so we just designed some awesome posters for the fuel bag project. We asked the manager at Sodium if we could hold a food drive in April at Sodium. We are trying to get healthy food to kids on free and reduced lunches on the weekends. These fuel bags include healthy snacks like raisins, granola bars, juice pouches, crackers and such.  On Sunday, August 29, Graceworks received nearly 27,000 pounds of food donated by the members of Brentwood Baptist Church (BBC), one of our church partners. Each year, the drive is announced during BBC's Sunday morning worship services along with a list of needed items, and members are encouraged to go shop after church, and bring the donations back to the church that afternoon. Food Drive brings in nearly 40,000 lbs of food

Graceworks received nearly 40,000 pounds of nonperishable food from the people of Williamson County during the 2010 Mail Carriers' Food Drive on May 8. The community is asked to leave their donations at their mailbox and mail carriers throughout the county pick that up on their routes.
