Despite a rainy afternoon, more than 900 backpacks filled with school supplies were given to students in need in Williamson County at last Saturday’s Big Backpack Giveaway at Liberty Elementary. Students in the Williamson County and Franklin Special School Districts enjoyed music, face-painting, free food and Sno-Cones at the event.
