Easing the Tax Prep Burden

No one enjoys doing taxes but GraceWorks, in partnership with the United Way of Williamson County, Fifth Third Bank and Walmart, can help make it easier.

From January 30 to April 15, any family who earned $62,000 or less during 2015 can receive free help from an IRS-certified tax preparer at GraceWorks and other local locations.

Here’s how it works

College Grove
Fifty Forward
8607 Horton Hwy.
Hours: Thursday only, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Fairview Public Library
2240 Fairview Blvd.
Hours: Tuesday, 2 p.m.-6 p.m. & Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

GraceWorks Ministries
104 Southeast Pkwy.
Hours: Tuesday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. & Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Williamson County Public Library
1314 Columbia Ave.
Hours: Monday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Wednesday, 3:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. & Saturday, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Here is what participants need to bring to their appointment:

• Photo ID & last year’s tax return
• Social Security number or ITINs for all family members on return
• W-2s, 1099s and other income statement
• Direct Deposit information
• Healthcare form 1095
• Your spouse, if filing jointly
